Greenville Middle School Art Show

 

New York Deli is again proud to show case this event. Stop in and view talents of some of our younger artists from the Greenville Middle School. On display through February are numerous landscapes, portraits and other works that will stir the imagination.

 

St. Joseph Food Program / New York Deli Holiday Food Drive

In conjunction with area businesses and St. Joseph Food Program we will be holding a food drive from November 8th, 2007 through November 15th. The drive kicks off with an Open House by participating businesses located in the Trasino Park Development. Donors will receive a registration form for each item donated to enter a drawing at a gift basket valued at more than $500.00. Donated items can be dropped off at New York Deli or any of the participating businesses during regular hours. Please call Don Sanderfoot at (920) 734-3354 for more information.

NEW YORK DELI BLOOD DRIVE

In cooperation with the Community Blood Center we are holding a blood drive on July 27, 2007 between 1:30 PM and 4:30 PM. The mobile donor unit will be parked in front of the restaurant. Schedule an appointment by calling 734-3354. Walk-Ins are accepted. Everyone is encouraged to give and if just the warm feeling of saving someone's life isn't enough reason, each donor will receive a coupon good for any sandwich at New York Deli!

 

May 2007 - July 2007 - Artist Exhibit/Dave Ford

RUBBER PLANT

Dave Ford is a Wisconsin native. After studying art at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design he switched gears and pursued an English degree and began teaching. Dave taught junior high students in Milwaukee before taking a job in South Korea. The experience provoked him to start painting again.

ST DONAT RED

Edsel's displayed works cover the past 7 years and include many notable original oils on canvas. Described as an Essentialist, Edsel works towards stripping the composition down to the bare elements required to invoke a memory. Influenced by the works of Picasso and Van Gogh and others combined with inspiration from the world of graphic arts.

January 2007 - Current - Artist Exhibit/Kevin Iris

Kevin Iris Artist/Sculptor. Kevin masterfully forms wire into beautiful trees, that only time and the elements can sculpt in real life. One can picture the natural environments that surrounds each of these works. Various pieces are on show throughout the year.

Kevin also coordinates the display of the all the other artists that show at our store.

October 19, 2006 - Current - Artist Exhibit/Leif Larson

Leif's Website

 

Leif Larson was born in Milwaukee in 1981.  He started drawing at a young age and by high school Leif was sure that he wanted to be an artist.  After transferring from Indiana State University, he attended college at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting.  Leif has shown his work in galleries in many Mid-Western cities and enjoys sharing and helping others, especially children, by teaching them how to create art.  He has been awarded for his art but finds the joy of the process to be more important.
